Police Blotter

The following is a portion of the incidents reported to the HUPD for the week ending Oct. 3. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.

Sept. 27: An individual was arrested for trespassing in Adams House.

Sept. 27: A purse was stolen at the Dunster House dining hall.

Sept. 27: A laptop computer was taken from a dormitory room in Adams House.

Sept. 27: Jewelry and CD's were stolen from an individual in Adams House.

Sept. 29: A backpack was stolen from an office in McKay Laboratory.

Sept. 29: An electronic dictionary was stolen from Lowell Hall.

Sept. 29: A motor vehicle was stolen from the Pound Hall lot.

Sept. 29: An oil tank at Coolidge Hall was ruptured and approximately two gallons of oil was spilled.

Sept. 29: A wallet was stolen from Lowell House.

Oct. 1: A group of people in their bathrobes visited Widener Library. Subjects left before officers arrived.

Oct. 2: A cellular telephone was stolen from Divinity Hall.

Oct. 2: A chemical spill occurred in Mallinckrodt Lab and the building was evacuated.

Oct. 2: A motorcycle was damaged in a hit and run accident at the Hoffman Laboratory lot.

Oct. 3: Items from a purse were stolen at the Hasty Pudding.

Also reported were 8 stolen bicycles, 1 harassing or obscene phone call, 17 medical assists, and 7 instances of recovered property.
