Big Apple Circus tickets available at Outings & Innings

Outings & Innings is selling tickets for the Big Apple Circus, taking place at Boston's Marine Industrial Park. The seats, dates, times, and prices are as follows:

Reserved Grandstand seats for Friday, May 7, 7 p.m., are $13 (regularly $18); Center Ringside seats for Sunday, April 18, at 4 p.m., for $39. There is no limit on the number of tickets that may be purchased. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, March 19. Purchase the tickets in person at the O&I office or call (617) 495-2828.

Observatory Night to be held at CfA

As part of an ongoing series of "third Thursday" night lectures and telescopic viewings, the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) is presenting a lecture on Thursday, March 18, titled "Exploring a New Cosmic Frontier with the Space Infrared Facility." Giovanni Fazio of the CfA will present the lecture, which, in keeping with the third Thursday tradition, will be a nontechnical talk and will be followed by telescopic observing of the heavens, weather permitting.

The program begins at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7:30. Admission is free and no tickets or reservations are necessary. Seating is limited, however, and organized on a first-come, first-served basis. The lecture is geared toward adult and high-school-age audiences. Observatory Night programs are in held in the Phillips Auditorium of the CfA, 60 Garden St. For information, call (617) 495- 7461.
