Police ReportsJuly 16: Money was reported stolen from Perkins and Vanderbilt halls. A purse was reported stolen at Chase Hall. July 18: An officer responded to a report of an individual attempting to gain access to Mather House using a lost ID. Subject was gone on arrival. July 19: Motor vehicles were reported vandalized while parked at the Langdell Library and the BSCH lot. A cell phone was reported stolen at the Carpenter Center. July 21: A wallet was reported stolen from the Science Center. July 22: A wallet was reported stolen from Hauser Hall. July 24: Bags were reported stolen from McCulloch Hall and the Armenise Building at the Medical School. July 25: A camera was reported stolen from Soldiers Field Park. A wallet was reported stolen from the Biology Lab. July 29: A bag was reported stolen from Holworthy Hall. At Divinity Hall, a juvenile was arrested for larceny of a bicycle and possession of a class D substance (marijuana). July 31: A computer was reported stolen from Holmes Hall. A book bag and jacket were reported stolen from Widener Library. Aug. 1: At Rosovsky Hall, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a class A substance (heroin). A camera was reported stolen from the Warren Alpert Building. Aug. 8: Six laptop computers were reported stolen from a storage area at Shad Hall. Aug. 9: Officers were dispatched to a report of a man sleeping in the basement at Gund Hall. Subject was field interviewed, arrested for a warrant, and charged with trespassing. At the Spangler Building, an officer was dispatched to take a report of a stolen bag containing cash. Suspect was identified and property was recovered. Aug. 10: An Annenburg Hall larceny suspect was stopped, identified, and placed under arrest. There were 18 reports of stolen bicycles from July 16 to Aug. 11.
