At its 12th meeting of the year the Faculty Council discussed with Dean Susan Pedersen (history and Undergraduate Education) proposed changes in the Faculty’s policies and procedures relating to Study Abroad.

The Council also heard a report from Dean Peter Ellison (anthropology and GSAS) on the Graduate School's program of financial aid for students in the natural sciences.

Additionally, the Council considered a proposed change in the undergraduate Handbook for Students for 2002-03, presented by Deans Harry Lewis (computer science and Harvard College) and David Fithian (the Administrative Board), and approved the proposed Extension School Courses for 2002-03.

The preliminary agenda deadline for the May 7 Faculty Meeting is Monday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m.
