Deadline approaching for public service grants

The Stride Rite Post-Graduate Public Service Grants support involvement in public service projects during the year following graduation. Graduating seniors are eligible to apply and receive grants up to $25,000. Funded programs are to be full time and community-focused. Interested students are invited to attend an information session on Feb. 6, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the Shepard Room at the Phillips Brooks House. The application deadline is March 14 by 5 p.m.

In addition, Senior Recognition Awards are given to seniors with exceptional dedication to service during their college career. The award includes a prize ranging from $1,000 to $3,500. The nomination deadline is Feb. 28 by noon.
