Message from Dean Gross

It is with deep regret that I must give you the sad news of the death of one of our undergraduates, Anthony Fonseca. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to his Winthrop Housemates, friends, and classmates. I know the entire Harvard community joins me in extending to his family our deepest sympathies.

A time like this can be very difficult for everyone, especially those who knew Anthony. I would like to remind his friends, classmates, and all students and staff that there are many people on campus who can help you through this difficult time. Professional help is immediately available through After Hours Urgent Care at the Harvard University Health Services, Holyoke Center, 75 Mount Auburn St. Enter through the basement and proceed to the fifth floor or call (617) 495-5711. Of course, tutors and proctors in each of the Houses and dorms are always ready to assist you.

- Benedict H. Gross
Dean of Harvard College
