Help wanted
Over the next decade, public schools in the U.S. will need 2 million new teachers, and 'schools are not well-organized for them,' says Susan Moore Johnson of the Graduate School of Education. 'In fact, the schools are organized for the teachers who are about to retire.' In an ideal school, new teachers could look to veterans for support and expertise.
