Police reportsMay 16: An officer was dispatched to Hastings Hall to take a report of a burglary by forced entry. A DVD, MP3 player, laptop computer, and camera were reported taken. May 17: Harassing phone calls were reported at Dunster House. A suspicious phone call was received at the Taubman Center. An officer was dispatched to Eliot House to take a past report of stolen laundry. A jacket was reported stolen at Gund Hall. An officer observed an individual acting suspiciously in the area of Widener Library. The individual was placed under arrest for a drug law violation and resisting arrest. May 18: At Holworthy Hall, an officer took a report of harassment via e-mail and phone calls. Cash was reported stolen at 20 DeWolfe St. May 19: A bicycle was reported stolen from a rack near Johnston Gate. Books were reported missing or misplaced at the Museum of Comparative Zoology. May 20: Suspicious phone calls were reported received at Massachusetts Hall. May 21: Officers were dispatched on the report of a shuttle bus reported stolen in front of Currier House. The bus was soon recovered on Hawthorne Street and a check of the area for a group of youths observed fleeing from the bus was negative. Officers were dispatched to Eliot House on a report of two individuals acting suspiciously near the bicycle racks and one individual inside a van. Officers stopped the van and observed several bicycles, bicycle parts, and various tools. The individuals, who were checked for warrants with negative results, were placed under arrest for larceny over $250 and trespassing. One individual was also charged with possession of a dangerous weapon (brass knuckles). May 22: At Wolbach Hall, an officer assisted the Cambridge Police Department with a victim of an armed robbery.
