Two libraries to close in May

Hilles Library will close on May 27 and reopen in October as the Quad Library. To ensure a smooth transition, please note the following arrangements:

  • Recalls of Hilles materials will begin in early April.

  • Nonreserves materials checked out or renewed, either online or in person, from early May onward will be due on May 31. Materials not returned by May 31 will be billed immediately as lost.

  • Reserves materials will not circulate after May 26.

  • Many Hilles materials that are being transferred to other libraries and all materials intended for the Quad Library will be unavailable from mid-June until October.

    Grossman Library to close during Sever Hall renovations

    The Harvard Extension School's Grossman Library will be closed beginning May 28 while Sever Hall undergoes major renovations. The library will reopen Sept. 19 in time for fall classes.
