Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Sept. 19. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Sept. 13: Cell phones were reported stolen from the Science Center and University Health Services.

Sept. 14: An officer was dispatched to Richards Hall to take a report of previous harassing phone calls. A computer was reported stolen from Griswold Hall. An unattended backpack was reported stolen from Langdell Hall.

Sept. 15: An officer was dispatched to the New Research Building on a report of a chemical spill. The officer arrived on the scene with the Boston Fire Department and Boston Emergency Medical Services, and the spill was contained.

Sept. 16: An unattended suitcase full of clothes was reported stolen from Perkins Hall.

Sept. 17: Officers were dispatched to 8 Plympton St. on a report of two individuals attempting to gain access through a window on the fire escape. Officers conducted a field interview with two individuals fitting the description before arresting the suspects for nighttime breaking and entering and trespassing.

Sept. 18: $20 in cash was reported stolen from an unattended purse at Adams House Dining Hall. An officer was dispatched to Currier House to take a theft report: $300 in cash, a backpack, four books, and a work apron were reported stolen.

Sept. 19: A digital camera was reported stolen from a secured room in the Goldenson Building. A parking gate was reported damaged by a motor vehicle at 1 Western Ave. An officer was dispatched to take a report of a motor vehicle that was hit and damaged while parked in the William James lot.

Since Sept. 13, five bicycles and three laptops have been reported stolen.
