Pulitzers for Elkins, Brooks
Harvard professor Caroline Elkins and Radcliffe Fellow Geraldine Brooks were awarded Pulitzer Prizes on April 17: Elkins for a factual reconstruction of Britain's brutal suppression of Kenya's Mau Mau rebellion and Brooks for her novel about the wartime journey of an absent father.
